Posting from
Like I said, I'm thinking about posting from my phone to something that isn't a social media platform.
Thanks to Elliott, I set up my photo site over a year ago and have been adding to it ever since.
Whilst it doesn't give me the feeling of posting something that I hope my friends would see (I think it feels more like an archive atm), it's been making me think about making a little something that does feel like posting to my friends.
I think it would need a few things:
- flexibility to post what I want, how I want
- hosted on my own server
- an accessible RSS feed
- a lightweight way to post from different devices
It's still a feeling more than an idea at the moment, but something I want to make soon - maybe before my next trip.
In the meantime, I've added captions to my photo site :)
